The Institute of Indigenous Studies
Lololo Ni Vanua.
The Lololo ni Vanua was established in 2009. Primarily, the aim is to promote and protect the teaching and transmission of knowledge, culture, language and values of Indigenous Fijians and Rotumans. The institute is made of prominent indigenous Fijian scholars and retired educators who have created a number of education programmes, to widen the scope of learning about cultural intelligence embedded in traditional ways of knowing and learning.
